Terms and Conditions
The terms on which Virginia Asphalt Services Inc. provides this website, responds to estimate requests, and contacts you about asphalt work.

1. Who we are
Virginia Asphalt Services Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an asphalt paving contractor based at 1536 Avon Street Ext, Charlottesville, VA 22902, serving Central Virginia. You can reach us on (434) 443-8035 or at paul@virginiaasphaltservices.com.
2. Using this website
This site is provided for information about our services. We take care to keep it accurate, but descriptions of services, methods and timescales are general guidance rather than a commitment about any particular property. Nothing on this site is a quotation, an offer, or a guarantee of a particular result on your pavement.
3. Estimates and assessments
Estimates and assessments are free and carry no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can observe at the time we visit. Asphalt work regularly uncovers conditions that are not visible from the surface — a failed base, a drainage fault, unsuitable ground — and where that happens we will stop, tell you what we have found, and agree any change with you before continuing. We will not add work to your bill that you have not approved.
Weather governs this trade. Paving and sealcoating both need warm, dry conditions, so scheduled dates may move. We will keep you informed when they do.
4. Text messages and SMS consent
Our estimate form includes an explicit, separate consent checkbox for text messages. Ticking it is optional, it is not required in order to get an estimate, and it reads:

In plain terms: if you tick that box you agree we may text you about your estimate and your job, and occasionally about our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not affect your job, your estimate, or your ability to reach us by phone or email.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
5. Calls and email
By giving us your phone number or email address you agree we may contact you about the estimate or work you have asked about. That is a service communication and it is separate from the marketing consent described above.
6. Financing
We are set up as a dealer with Service Finance Company. Any financing application is made with them, on their own site, under their terms. Approval, rates, terms and the handling of your application are entirely theirs — we do not set them, decide them, or control that process. Please read their terms before applying.
7. Payment and workmanship
Payment terms are set out in the estimate or contract for your job. Where a defect in our workmanship appears, tell us as soon as you notice it and we will come and look at it. Ordinary wear, damage from vehicles or third parties, ground movement, drainage conditions outside the agreed scope, and the effects of deferring recommended maintenance are not workmanship defects.
New asphalt cures over roughly 6 to 12 months. Marks caused by heavy loads, point loads or sharp stationary turns during that period are not defects in the work, and we will tell you about them before we leave the site.
8. Third-party links
This site links to third parties, including Service Finance Company and our sister company Seal Pro Masters. We are not responsible for their sites, their content or their practices.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
